“ We Won’t be defined by trauma- we rise, we lead, we reclaim our stories.” - Misty Dawn

Human Trafficking Education and Eradication

We are an organization boldly standing at the intersection of mentorship, education, and survivor empowerment.

We mentor youth who have experienced the unimaginable- child sex trafficking- and walk alongside them as they reclaim their voices, rebuild their identities, and rise into leaders.

We educate youth to recognize red flags, stand against exploitation, and become advocates for themselves and others.

We are survivors. We are mentors. We are change-makers.

And we won’t be silent.

We won’t look away.

We won’t stop until every child is free.

This is the We Won’t Movement- where healing transforms into power, and the future is rewritten with hope.

From Pain To Power- Together, We Rise.

Trauma Informed Equine Coaching

We offer a unique and deeply healing approach to trauma recovery through Equine Trauma-Informed Life Coaching. This powerful form of coaching uses horses as partners in the healing process, helping survivors of human trafficking rebuild trust, strengthen emotional resilience, and reclaim their power. Horses have an innate ability to respond to human emotions, providing a safe space where trauma survivors can experience healing and growth.

Why Equine-Assisted Coaching?

Horses are prey animals with highly attuned senses, capable of reading human emotions and body language in a way that no other animal can. They mirror the emotional state of the person interacting with them, providing immediate, honest feedback. For individuals who have experienced trauma—especially those who have been exploited—this unique interaction offers several benefits:

  • Building Trust: One of the core challenges survivors of human trafficking face is rebuilding trust—both with others and themselves. Horses, with their gentle, non-judgmental nature, help individuals feel safe enough to open up, communicate, and form connections. Working with a horse helps survivors understand that trust can be rebuilt, even after it has been broken.

  • Non-Verbal Communication: Many survivors of trauma struggle to express their emotions verbally. Equine-assisted coaching bypasses the need for words, allowing survivors to communicate and process feelings through body language and energy. This can be especially helpful for individuals who find it difficult to talk about their trauma.

  • Emotional Regulation: Horses respond to the energy and emotions of the person they are with. This offers survivors a mirror to their internal state and an opportunity to learn how to regulate their emotions in real-time. As the survivor learns to stay calm and composed while interacting with the horse, they build valuable skills for managing stress, anxiety, and overwhelming feelings.

  • Empowerment Through Action: The act of working with a horse—feeding, grooming, or leading, —instills a sense of responsibility, purpose, and accomplishment. Survivors learn to set goals, make decisions, and take action, which is crucial for rebuilding a sense of autonomy and self-worth after experiencing trauma.

Education

We believe that education is one of the most powerful tools in preventing human trafficking and empowering youth to protect themselves. Through comprehensive, trauma-informed educational programs, we teach young people about their rights, the red flags of exploitation, and the resources available to them.

What We Teach:

  • Awareness of Exploitation: Youth learn to identify the warning signs of trafficking and manipulation—whether in the form of online predators, coercion, or situations that compromise their safety.

  • Personal Boundaries and Self-Advocacy: We teach students to understand and assert their boundaries, empowering them to advocate for their well-being and make informed decisions about their lives.

  • Empowerment through Knowledge: Through interactive workshops and real-world scenarios, we teach young people how to recognize their worth, develop resilience, and build healthy relationships based on respect.

Preventing Trafficking, One Lesson at a Time:

Education is a preventative measure—by equipping youth with the tools to protect themselves and understand their rights, we foster resilience, awareness, and confidence. We work to create empowered, informed young people who are better prepared to resist exploitation and create safe futures for themselves and their peers.

Community AwarenesS

We believe that awareness is the first step toward ending human trafficking. Our Community Awareness initiatives are designed to engage, educate, and activate communities in the fight against exploitation. Through outreach programs, advocacy, and partnerships, we work to shine a light on this pervasive issue, fostering a collective responsibility to protect our children and vulnerable populations.

What We Do:

  • Outreach Campaigns: We use a variety of media—social media, print materials, community events, and local campaigns—to educate the public about the realities of human trafficking. Our outreach campaigns focus on the signs of trafficking, the myths surrounding it, and how to recognize and respond to potential cases in your own community.

  • Public Speaking and Workshops: Our team hosts community events, presentations, and training workshops for individuals and organizations such as schools, law enforcement, churches, and local businesses. These sessions are aimed at equipping community members with the knowledge to spot the warning signs of trafficking, as well as providing resources on how to report suspicions and protect potential victims.

  • Collaboration with Local Organizations: By partnering with local government agencies, advocacy groups, and other nonprofits, we help create a network of informed and engaged citizens who are dedicated to preventing trafficking. Our community partnerships also ensure that survivors have access to essential services such as housing, legal assistance, and mental health care.

  • Empowering Community Leaders: We work to inspire and equip community leaders—teachers, parents, counselors, and others who interact with youth—to take an active role in prevention. These leaders become key advocates for spreading awareness and creating safe spaces where young people can openly discuss concerns and receive support.
